Whether you have just moved to the area, are exploring faith for the first time, or are simply looking for a warm and friendly community to be part of — we are so glad you are here. At St Luke’s Community Church we believe that everyone matters and that there is a place for you. We are a Church of England community shaped by five values: Together, Accepted, Blessed, Loved, and Empowered. Those values are not just words — they describe the kind of community we are trying to build together, and they start the moment you walk through the door.

Here is a little of what a typical Sunday morning looks like at St Luke’s.
Sundays at 11am
Our Sunday service brings people of all ages together. You will find a warm welcome, accessible teaching, sung worship, prayer, and space to connect with others over coffee and conversation afterwards. The service lasts about an hour.

Alpha is a relaxed and friendly series of sessions where you can explore the big questions of life and faith in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. Each session includes food, a short talk, and open conversation. You can ask anything, say anything, and no question is off limits.
Alpha is completely free and open to absolutely everyone — whether you are curious about Christianity, unsure what you believe, or simply want to think things through.
We will be looking to run an Alpha Course in 2027.
